Jonah
Fellowship Senior Pastor Ed Young shares with us the biblical story of Jonah, the prophet of the northern kingdom of Israel. Jonah is a prophet of the northern kingdom of Israel, famous for being swallowed by a fish. His story is told in the Bible, as well as in the Qur’an. He is mentioned in Matthew and Luke. Jonah’s story is similar in the Hebrew Bible and the Qur’an. He is a prophet who fled the kingdom to avoid G-d’s command. Storms and winds harried the ship on which he sailed, and he was cast overboard and swallowed by a whale. After three days the whale released him, and he returned to do G-d’s will.
